SMX London – 3 Panels in one day!

November is looking to be a busy month for speaking opportunities.

On the 4th November I’ll be on not 1, not 2, but 3 panels at SMX London this year, talking about PPC for all levels of knowledge; beginner to advanced. I’m particularly looking forward to the session on PPC pitfalls since it will be a chance to highlight some of the great faux pas in Search Marketing.

Moving into the second week of November it’s the World Travel Marketing Event, and on the 13th I’ll be speaking about some of the most recent developments in Search Marketing and how they apply to Travel Marketers.

Last time I spoke I was preaching about Photosynth so this year I best have a live demo since it’s now widely available.

If you’re attending either of these events, be sure to say hi!

Speaking at Ad:tech London

Ok so we’re heading into events season again.

This week I’m at Ad:tech speaking on the expo floor at 1.10pm with Rishi from Haven about their successful SEO strategy – http://www.ad-tech.com/london/session_detail.asp?session=52&refad=1

Then tomorrow it’s into the conference at 3.30pm covering Search and it’s potential for branding – http://www.ad-tech.com/london/session_detail.asp?session=135&refad=1&conf=1

I’ll also be at SMX London i November but more details to follow on that later.

If you’re at Olympia, come an say hi!

The “Arrogant” Google Rep

It was bad enough that I was jet lagged from the conference in Dubai last week, but to then hot-foot it over to the London Metropole and present at SMX London may have been a little too much as you can see from the great comic strip review from the sitevisibility guys.

Go see the rest of them at – http://www.sitevisibility.co.uk/blog/?p=103

…and you can view a copy of the [very short] presentation here…but beware, the slideshare.net system mucks up my fonts and builds.

I guess I made up for Google’s absence from the Search Advertising panel by plugging a couple of their products.
Maybe I’m getting confused with the other Richard Gregory but, according to NMA and Marketing Week, I’m a bit too arrogant for Google myself.

A spot of speaking…..

This week will see me in Dubai mid-week, delivering war and peace on search engine marketing, before heading back to London for SMX and the “What’s New in Search Advertising?” Panel.

I’ll be joined by Alexis from MIVA, Richard Firminger from Yahoo and the infamous Mel Carson from Microsoft. All lovingly moderated by Chris Sherman himself.

So what is new? You’ll have to wait and see.

Oh …and why aren’t Google on the panel?
