I really like Google+ but…

The circle functionality is starting to become a little unwieldy for me.

I’d like to see Google, or a third-party, develop:

  • a circle management tool that allows me to copy and modify circles.
  • the ability to share circles so other people can copy them.
  • the option to change my startup stream to one, or multiple circles

Given the pace of development of Google+ I’m sure I won’t have to wait long.

POSTSCRIPT 15/07/11: Speak of the devil! The Android G+ app has just been updated so that you can customise which circles you see in your start-up stream.

Is Empire Avenue becoming your social media dashboard?

A while ago I got hooked on Empire Avenue as an online share trading game where you buy and sell stock in  other people.

The game has developed extremely quickly over the past few months with continual adjustments to the game mechanics and improvements to the user interface. However, the most recent change is the inclusion of a widget that tracks your social media activity across a number of properties.

Is this way of measuring your social media “value” unique to Empire Avenue?
